What is a Bill of Sale?
The Bill of sale is a document recording a transaction between two parties (buyer and seller/borrower and lender). It serves as a document of security for payment of moveable assets( motor vehicles, Household Items, Electronic items.
What documents do I need?
- The Execution of a bill of sale must be in the presence of two witnesses who are not parties thereto.
- The Prescribed Form of the bill.
- Description of residence and occupation of applicants and witnesses.
- The sworn affidavit specifying the date, hour, minute and due execution and the description of residence and occupation of person giving or taking bill and witnesses, attested by first or second witness.
- Schedule or inventory signed by both witnessess and the burrower/buyer
Duration
A new Bill of sale process will be complete three weeks after filing. Affidavit of renewal and declaration verifying memorandum of satisfaction of bill of sale processes are completed in three working days.
